How are GWP De-Icers different than other treated de-icers?

It all starts with utilizing premium base materials, requiring the use of straight white salt with no more than 2% moisture content. The next step requires the application of premium agriculturally-based liquids many with corrosion inhibitors. We use pug mill operations which improves product encapsulation up to 99.2% coverage. A pug mill achieves a thoroughly mixed, homogeneous product by spraying the salt granular with jet nozzles from all angles. This thorough encapsulation allows GWP De-Icers to have the greatest consistency for optimal performance.
Our product lines of granular de-icers are easy to handle and apply and come in various bag sizes or bulk. Liquid de-icers are available in 5, 55, 275 gallon containers/totes all the way up to 4,500 gallon tanker loads.
Implementing both solid and liquid de-icers will allow you to choose which product is right for each particular event, as no two events are the same. Our products can be used before, during, and after any type of event. By having these various ‘tools’ in your toolbox allow you to better serve your customers.
